Judith Pippenger Obituary

Judith Ann Pippenger, 78, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease on Saturday, March 23, 2024, with her family present. Judy was born on January 23, 1946, to Roger and Imogene Kulp in Elkhart, Indiana, and married her high-school sweetheart, David Pippenger, on December 12, 1964.

In addition to her beloved husband, Judy leaves behind three daughters, Lisa (Brian) Caufield, Jennifer Kelly, and Polly Yoder, as well as three grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Judy was a kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed making her own clothes and clothes for her children as they were growing up. She also loved genealogy, gardening, and shopping.

The family wholeheartedly thanks the Center for Hospice Care professionals who provided wonderful care for Judy these past few months. Their selfless compassion is a gift we can never repay.

A small, private, family service will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
