Justin Hamby Obituary

Justin Michael Hamby, 46, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home on March 18, 2024. He was born on April 22, 1977, in Elkhart to Michael Hamby and Patricia House (Derr).

Justin had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking and sharing a meal with family, reading Steven King novels, performing card tricks, being in nature, and adventures with Minnie the dog. He was an avid animal lover who made friends everywhere he went. Making people laugh was his specialty. Uncle potato-head will be remembered for his big heart and his ability to always be the life of the party. He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mike; his mother, Patricia; and his brother, Steve. He is survived by his daughter, Jenna (Sean); grandsons, Oliver and Graham; brother, Mike; sisters, Robbin (John) and Lindsay (Alfonso); nieces, Lily, Carlynn, and Emily; nephews, Christian, Joaquin, and Angel; his partner, Serene; and group of lifelong friends.

Cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
