Allie Siade

SOUTH BEND-Allie Siade, 90, passed away May 17, 2022, at his home in South Bend.  He was born December 30, 1931, in Mishawaka to Albert & Romize (Hammond) Siade.

  Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Joann Siade, her son, Rick Horn, a granddaughter, Leslie Horn, 4 siblings, Joe, Marian, Neaman and Ralph.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings.    

  Allie graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1948 and joined the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. 

  He was an avid Notre Dame fan but more importantly he was a devoted John Wayne fan and even had a whole room dedicated to memorabilia.  He also enjoyed cooking, hosting numerous parties throughout the years at his home and having a good time with family and friends.  Allie also took a lot of pride in his yard especially his rose bushes.

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  Memorial contributions may be given to your local veterans’ service organization.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
