Alvin Brian Griffis

Alvin Brian Griffis, 68 of Elkhart IN passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. Born on June 22nd 1957, in Iaeger, West Virgina. Brian was the son of Dorothy and the late George Griffis.

Brian was retired and lived a life defined by his kindness. He truly loved everyone he met, and nothing meant more to him than family. He found his greatest joy simply being in the company of his mother.

 Brian was preceded in death by his father George Griffis and his niece Samatha Stamey. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Griffis his brother Michael Griffis and his two sisters Drema (Bill) Calentine and Ivy (Cat) Cantu. He also leaves behind his stepmother Lillian Griffis (Bailey) and his step siblings; John (Kathy), Kenny (Teresa), Ernie (Cindy), Linda (Terry).

His memory will also be cherished by his nieces and nephews; Richard Masuth the III, Roxanne (Michael) Smith and Patrick Griffis and many more extended family members and friends.

Elkhart Cremation has been entrusted with the arrangements.
