Ann Moore Obituary

ELKHART- The world has lost a beloved mother. Ann Marie Moore, who loved to be called "Momma" by her kids, departed her loving family at age 53. Her passing took place April 10th, 2021, due to surgery complications.

Ann was born February 22, 1968 in Elkhart, IN.
She is welcomed into Heaven by her mother, Betty.
Ann was a memorable woman. She was kind, generous, beautiful, loving, and brought a smile to all those fortunate to meet her. She was thoughtful, welcoming, a healer, and had a natural maternal and generous way about her. She could make anyone feel accepted and loved, as she did so often. She didn't have much but what she did have, she rejoiced in sharing with those in need. Ann will be remembered most for her heart of gold. Her words of encouragement, love, and comfort kept her children strong through even their most difficult days.

Yes, Ann was definitely a character, one of a kind for sure. You can't describe her, or her life in just a few words so I'll leave that unsaid, just know she was (and still is) a beautiful soul. Despite what she was going through, she always put others before herself and went out of her way to assure their happiness. Even though she has parted from her physical form, she would still want to continue bringing happiness and joy to others. We shall not cry tears of sadness, but tears of joy because we have  not lost a loved one, but have gained a watchful eye to keep us safe.

Ann leaves behind her legacy of two incredible children, Tanner Lee McMahan and Tianna Marie McMahan, with whom she taught to have all the strength and perseverance that she herself had, along with all of those whose lives she touched- the people she made to feel loved, accepted, and uplifted.

As per her request, Ann will be cremated and her ashes will be released somewhere beautiful. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements. Their website will permanently have this obituary posted. While no public service is to be held, there will be a private memorial service held for Ann's immediate family. If you would like to reach out or send memorial contributions, mail may be sent to Tanner McMahan at 54560 County Road 17 Elkhart, IN 46516. Condolences and contributions, to help offset expenses, may also be made through the family's Go Fund Me page. gofundme.com/rest-in-peace-ann-moore

“Your Hug Meant the World:
Nobody else held me so tight
Or made me feel so right
No one's eyes shined so bright with love
As my mom, who is now high above.”
