THREE RIVERS, MI- Annetta J. Kennealy, 96, of Three Rivers, Michigan, died Wednesday July 14, 2021, at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Centreville, Michigan. She was born May 6, 1925, in Plympton, England to Arthur Reginald Walter and Daisy Louisa (Austin) Weeks.
On March 27, 1971, in Mendon, Michigan she married LeRoy J. Kennealy. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2013, in Constantine, Michigan. Surviving are 3 children, Linda Speece, Robert (Colleen) Horton, David Horton all of Three Rivers, Michigan; a daughter in law Nancy Horton of Three Rivers, Mi., 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in England. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LeRoy, a son Patrick Horton, a granddaughter Darcy Brackett, 2 great grandsons Logan Brackett and Kyle Bosma and her son David’s partner Daniel Bowen.
Annetta lived in Florida from 1975 to 2004 and while in Florida she was a member and Past President of the Doe’s Club of the Elks Lodge in Inverness, Florida. She served in the Fire Brigade in Plymouth, England during W.W. II. Annetta came to America as a war bride in 1946. She loved playing Bingo and visiting the local casinos.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services. She will be laid to rest next to her husband LeRoy at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, Michigan at a later date.
