ELKHART- Barbara E. Hart of Elkhart, Indiana passed away Saturday July 12th, 2025 at her residence in Elkhart.

She was born January 12th, 1941 in Royal Center Indiana to William & Evelyn (Howard) Davis.

  On May 24th, 1980 she married Donald M. Hart.

  She was a beloved homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

  Preceded by death are her parents: William D. Davis and Evelyn E. Davis, 2 brothers: William E. Davis and Frank R. Davis, and 2 sons: Michael T.L. Barker and Kevin B. Barker.

  Surviving are her husband: Donald Hart, 2 brothers: John Davis and Jim Davis, children: Troy (Linda) Barker, Raínee (Dean) Miller, Ray Barker, Jimmy Hart, Tammy Hart-Bachman, and their families.

  She was loved by many and touched many people’s lives.

  Some of her favorite things were cooking, bargain shopping, and many crafts (which she was very good at).

  Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in her memory.

  Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
