Barbara Jean Smock

Barbara Jean Smock, born on May 24, 1965, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at Goshen Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.

She is survived by her two beloved sons, Ron Laughman and Anthony Smock, who cherished her unwavering love and support throughout their lives. Barbara was a proud grandmother to Alex Durie, Michael Laughman, and Lily Laughman, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her mother, Sheila Rowley, and her siblings: Paula Hooven, Laura Rowley, and brother Leo Rowley. Barbara held a special place in her heart for her nephews, Josh and Aaron Rowley, and her nieces, Alissa and Kelsey Rowley, Amber and Rich Hooven.

Barbara was preceded in death by her cherished grandson, Logan Laughman, her father, Leo Rowley Sr and beloved daughter Felicia Nicole Laughman-Durie

Barbara's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her nurturing nature, and her unwavering strength. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is at peace and will always be with them in spirit.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can come together to honor her memory and share their love for her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in her name.

Rest in peace, Barbara. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
