Bobbie Lee Blatz

ELKHART- Bobbie Lee Blatz, 86, of Elkhart, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2023, at her residence at Brentwood Assisted Living  in Elkhart.  She was born February 25, 1937, in Elkhart, Indiana to Robert & Evelyn (Fulton) Crout.

On October 1, 1960, in Elkhart, she married David J. Blatz.  He survives along with 2 daughters, Tracy (Bradley) Reiners of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Veronica (Jesse) Adams of Elkhart, IN; 5 grandchildren, Brittney Hamilton, Alex Reiners, Jessica Reiners, Faith (Jeff) Dubert and Kacie Adams and 2 sisters, Linda Morris of FL and Becky Vaughn of Elkhart.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters. Judy Chew, and Pat Ernsberger.

Bobbie graduated in 1955 from Elkhart High School.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending taking the grandchildren on many adventures, to museums, and different cities and towns. She loved to plant flowers and was a great cook. You would never leave the house hungry. She was always there for her kids and grandchildren if they needed anything. She had many friends, whom she would have lunch with often.

Bobbie was formerly employed by Gemeinhardt in Elkhart, as a sales and service representative. She loved her job. She retired in 1999.

Bobbie was also a member of Northside Baptist Church of Elkhart, Indiana.

Elkhart Cremation services is entrusted with her care.  Memorial contributions may be given to Ascent Hospice Care.
