Bobby "Bob" R Lovelady

ELKHART-Bobby R. Lovelady, 70, passed away October 5, 2025, at his home in Elkhart.  He was born July 10, 1955, in Elkhart.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jackson, mother, Barbara Lovelady, 2 brothers, Spanky Thomas, and Chris Thomas.

  Surviving are 3 children, Brannon Zimmerman, Ashley Lovelady, Brittany Jackson, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.  Also surviving are 3 brothers, Steve Thomas, Tony Thomas, 2 sisters, Pamela Thomas Lisa Thomas, and numerous other family members.

  Bobby was a member of the Elkhart Men’s Choir.  He enjoyed gardening and doing fish fry’s.  He was strong-willed, determined, funny, an all-around great person with a wonderful personality.   Family was the most important thing to Bobby and above all else he liked spending time making memories with them. 

  Per his wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Bobby’s home.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset expenses.
