Bonnie D. Fuentes

Bonnie D. Fuentes, 69, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on June 8, 1955, in Goshen, IN, to the late Frank and Louise (Byler) Burkhead.

Surviving are three children, Christina (Levi) Brubaker, Benjamin (Elena) Fuentes, Nitika (Donald Taylor) Fuentes; four grandchildren, Eleanor, Josephine, Isabella, Ben Jr; and a brother, Doug Burkhead.

Bonnie was a wonderful gardener. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and was an animal lover. A fond memory of Bonnie was when her children were little, and she used to sing them to sleep. 

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no services. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
