Carmen Perales Obituary

ELKHART-Carmen Perales, 83, passed away September 24, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare in Elkhart. She was born November 28, 1941, in San Antonio, TX to Baltazor & Catarina Escamilla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gilbert Castillo Sr., and daughter, Guadalupe Castillo.

Surviving are 3 children, Juanita (Bernardo) Galindo, Carmen (Susan) Castillo, Gilbert (Kim) Castillo Jr, 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Carmen enjoyed sewing, dressing dolls up, and spending time with her family.

Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
