ELKHART-Carol L. Romo, 87, passed away April 20, 2021 at the Center for Hospice in Elkhart. She was born February 24, 1934 in South Bend to Chester & Mary (Johnson) Green.

She married Manuel Romo, he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 1 great-granddaughter, Rory.

Surviving are 3 children, Barbara DeMoss, Mary (Tim) Cox, Donald “Don” (Veronica) DeMoss, 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Kristina, Joey, Cassie, Jennifer, 6 great-grandchildren, Cheyanne, Lily, Olivia, Kasie, Taylor, Alayna, and 1 sister, Grace Cassel.

Carol devoted her life to the healthcare industry as a nursing assistant.

Per her wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
