Carolyn Jean Miller

MILLERSBURG, IN- Carolyn Jean Miller, 85, of Millersburg, died Friday July 2, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.  She was born May 21, 1936 in Richmond, Indiana to Oscar and Mittie Bessie (Alexander) Baker,

     She married William R. Miller, Sr.  He preceded her in death on June 6, 1987.  Surviving are five children, Bill Miller of Mishawaka, IN, Tony (Vicki) Miller of Willoughby Hills, OH, Doug Miller of Millersburg, IN, Dee Miller- Jahant of Cincinnati, OH, Scott A. (Tanya)  Miller of Goshen; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Oscar, Jr., Harold, and Tom Baker.

     Carolyn was formerly employed as a waitress at Margie’s Lounge in Millersburg.   She was a social butterfly and enjoyed visiting with her neighbors.  She never knew a stranger and she loved animals.

     In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the Elkhart County Humane Society.
