Obituary
OSCEOLA-Carolyn S. (England) Sayre, 83, passed away March 18, 2023, at her home in Osceola. She was born February 3, 1940, in Solsberry, IN to Virgil & Lillian England.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Sayre, siblings, Tom England, Donald England, Frank England, and Barbara Sweigart.
Surviving is her son, Steven (Sara) Sayre, a grandson, Nathan Sayre, a sister, Wilma Plotner, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She worked at several Italian restaurants in the area including Caseys, Flytraps and Michaels. Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her husband, going on cruises, and enjoyed their time together. She always went above and beyond the needs of her family and friends proving her love for them in any way she could. Despite her cancers she managed to always stay positive and full of energy.
Per her wishes cremation will take place and burial will be held at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations may be given to any cancer funds as she had cancer; Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Bone Cancer and Kidney Cancer.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
