Catherine Elizabeth (Qualls) Fearnow

    Better known as Cathy, Aunt Cat, Momma, and friend, died on January 7, 2022, at her mother’s home on Kelsey Avenue in Elkhart, IN at 5:10 p.m., with loved ones by her side.
     Cathy was happily married for 34 years to the late, James G. Fearnow. Who was better known as Pirate, Uncle Pirate, Dad, and friend.
     Cathy and James leave behind two sons, Shawn B. Qualls, and Jamie L. Qualls. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Shayla M., Savannah L., and Shyanne E. Qualls, Justice Adams, Jersey E.L. Gordon, Joy C., and Grayson Qualls, and 3 greatgrandchildren, Paul L. Qualls, Josiah A. Rivera, and Miley M. Qualls.
    Cathy was born on December 19, 1955, on the south side of Chicago, IL, to the late Earl and Joan Qualls. She was the eldest of five children and loved her sisters dearly. Who are as follows: Sherry Yoder, Cynthia Davis, Donna Qualls, and Debby Myrick. Cathy was and is a wonderful soul who touched many hearts. She loved animals and spending time with family and friends.
     Cathy was and is a great blessing from above and she will truly be missed. Though every January 7th at 5:10 p.m., there will be a beautiful red-headed angel looking down over this world and be smiling.

A Celebration of Life for Catherine Elizabeth (Qualls) Fearnow will be held at a later date. Jamie and Shawn will let family and friends know when and where.
