Catherine Thomas Obituary

SOUTH BEND-Catherine Louise Thomas, 53, passed away October 8, 2020 at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka. She was born January 17, 1967 in South Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul VanDriessche, Clarice (Cadwell) Hattery and 1 grandson, Adam Coleman.
Surviving are 5 children, Crystal (William Kelly) Coleman, Corey Luke, Jonathon Coleman, Audrey (Janus Flora) Searfoss, Guy (Tina) Searfoss and 10 grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 siblings, Terry Luke, Daniel VanDriessche and Paula Kay O’Connell.
There will be no services and cremation will take place.
Catherine enjoyed coloring, crocheting, and learning anything new she could. She cherished her family and truly enjoyed being a mother to everyone she came in contact with.
In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to St. Jude’s Children Hospital for Leukemia Research or to the Center for Hospice Care.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
