Cathy Diane Kelley

Cathy Diane Kelley, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Esther’s House, Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart, IN. She was born to Charles and Emogene Parish on September 29, 1956 in Monette, Arkansas.

Cathy owned the former Boardwalk Cafe in Elkhart for nearly 20 years. She loved cooking and serving her customers and community, until she retired in 2018. She loved reading, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Judy Houston, Shelly Gill, and Terri Lawrence; and her brother, Kenny Parish.

Cathy is survived by her daughters, Misty Kelley (Preston) and Jami Kelley; her granddaughter, Hannah Free; her grandsons, Alex Free and Jayce Sharp; her siblings, Wayne Parish, Sue Floyd, Barbara Edings, Sandy Dedrick, Beverly Doyle, Becca Parish, Amy Ashley; and ten nieces and six nephews. Cathy was dearly loved and will be missed by many, especially her spiritual sister and our family friend, Tina King.

Per Cathy’s wishes, cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
