Charles Philip Fazio was a lively man whose amiable spirit permeated through everyone he loved and connected with. He was a lover of classical music. While going on rides, he would hum to the up and down of the beautiful instruments vibrating through the cab of his truck. Charlie loved singing and was in the church choir as a young child and adult. He was also a lover of reading, always with a book in his hand or next to him. Charlie worked all his life and enjoyed the social aspect of his job, talking to customers and coworkers. Being the social butterfly he was, work was very dear to him. He was a lover of eating and complimented his wife’s cooking with “Mhm baby, this is so good!” every single time he ate her food, smacking his lips and going for seconds (and sometimes thirds).
Charlie had a gentle giant spirit to him. People knew it was him walking down the hall of his home with his booming footsteps, hums and whistles floating through the air. His Bostonian accent was remembered and emulated with a smile as everybody that talked about him blurred out the “r” in his name to emphasize his east coast home.
Charles’ spirited energy lingered with the people he encountered, leaving an impression of a happy and energetic man whose life was full of family and loved ones.
