Cherlene Keen

Cherlene Keen, 53, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at a friend’s residence in Elkhart, IN. She was born on October 31, 1970 in Elkhart to Melvin J. and Sandra L. (Wise) Keen.

Cherlene is survived by her son, Thomas M. (Tiffanie) Keen of Warsaw, IN; daughter, Miranda (Geoffrey) Rancourt of Elkhart; three granddaughters; one grandson; one grandbaby on the way; mother, Sandra Heath; sister, Cherene (Mike) Buckley of Elkhart; half-sisters, Cathline and Charlene of New York; half-brother, Ben (Heather) Heath of Bristol, IN; and two nephews. In addition to her father, Cherlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Schoemann, who died from SIDS.

Cherlene was employed as a manager at 7-11 convenience store.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Kessington Community Church, 70200 Kessington Road, Edwardsburg, MI. Pastor Steve Steele will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday prior to the service at the church. Cherlene’s ashes will be interred in Kessington Cemetery. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
