CASSOPOLIS, MI- Dale Eugene Charlston, 84, of Cassopolis, MI, passed away Monday May 25, 2026, at the Cass County Medical Care Facility in Cassopolis, MI.
Dale was born April 13, 1942, in Elkhart, Indiana to Elmer & Mabel (Carpenter) Charlston. On June 30, 1962, he married Fay Price. She survives along with 3 children, Demeteria Klaer, Brian Charlston, and Tammie Charlston; 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving is a brother, Harry Charlston and 12 nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Charlston, his mother, Mabel Misner, a stepfather, Chet Meisner, a brother-in-law, James Orem and a sister-in-law, Jan Charlston.
Dale retired from McDonald’s as a maintenance man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to church and to tractor shows, mowing and model trains.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life gathering will take place at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
