Darrel K Lundeen

ELKHART, IN - Darrel K. Lundeen, 62, of Elkhart, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, June 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Darrel was born June 4, 1963, in Benton Harbor, MI. to the late Donovan Lundeen and Glenda (Bradberry) Spirito. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather Michael Spirto, his sister, Marjorie Vaupel, 2 brothers, Donovan Lundeen Jr. and Frank Lundeen.
He is survived by his eldest son Joshua Lundeen, his daughter, Krista (Zachary Stewart) Lundeen, 6 grandchildren, Kihri, Zakhari, Zander, Ariana, Elijah and Vivian, a sister, Carol (Bob) Uhlenburg, a brother, David Taylor, a lifelong family/friend, Patty (Rodriguez) Mendez, numerous nieces and nephews.
Darrel attended Sister Virginias Adult Education Center, where he received his GED Diploma.
Darrel was a very hard worker, working in the RV industry most of his life. He was a jack of all trades and would have been the first to offer help to anyone in need. He would give the shirt off his back or help in anyway he could, then sit down by a fire and enjoy a cold one with you.
Darrel enjoyed tinkering with things, hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends and did the things he loved until his final breath. He will be remembered by his selfless and caring nature and will be dearly missed.
Per Darrel’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
