Darrin Eugene Johnson

Elkhart, Indiana- Darrin Eugene Johnson, 59, passed away on Friday, September 12th, 2025 at his home in Elkhart.

He was born on Monday, April 11th, 1966 in Elkhart, Indiana to Warren E. and Dorothy Johnson (Hershberger).

He was preceded in his passing by his father Warren and his cherished grandbaby.

Darrin is survived by his mother, Dorothy of Elkhart;

His daughter Jessica Alvarez (Salvador); his grandchildren Noah, Nicolas, Isabella and Pierce of Elkhart; his son Trenton and his children; and son Christian; his sister Arlene Heflin (Scott) of Elkhart; and his three nephews Justin, Dustin and Austin.

He was a 1984 graduate of Edwardsburg High School.

He was a factory worker for many years.

Darrin liked reading, music, and trying out new recipes.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, giving heart, but most of all his love for his children and grandchildren.

Darrin will forever be cherished by the ones who love him.

Elkhart Cremation has been entrusted with his care.
