David Allen Russell

David Allen Russell 72 of Elkhart, Indiana passed away on Wednesday 10/2/2025 at home with his family gathered

Dave was born in Elkhart Indiana to Charles and Cora (Hawkin) Russell on 1/16/1953

On 6/3/1978 Dave married  Cindy J DePree and lived in Elkhart with Cindy for 47 years

Surviving is his wife Cindy Russell of Elkhart, a son Shane L. Russell and his partner Ronda Keyser of Middlebury, a daughter Chandra (Russell) Holt and husband Mike Holt of Coloma, Michigan.

4 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren.  Sister Brenda (Russell) Kowalczyk.

Proceeding him in death are brothers Dennis Russell, Thomas Russell, sister Linda Schott .

Dave loved his family and friends dearly. He enjoyed traveling and fishing and telling stories and also joking with everyone he met . A laugh to him was the best

Dave spent 30 years driving for Penske transport and had many friends there

Dave was taken to soon and he was loved and will be missed. 

From his wife Cindy Thank you for 47 years of a wonderful life with you and blessed marriage.  I love and will miss you always.

There will a graveyard service on 10/16/2025 at 2 pm at prairie street cemetery Frances Avenue and E Hively Avenue
