David Stokely Obituary

ELKHART- David Wright Stokely, 88, of Elkhart, passed away Monday June 8, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born October 19, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA to Leonard & Jeanette Stokely.

On May 4, 1978 he married Doris Marie Stickel. She survives along with 2 children, David (Jackie) Stokely of LaGrange, IN and Susan Chadwell of Union, MI; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. David served in the National Guard and retired from the railroad where he worked as chief clerk at the hump tower.
