Deborah Grover Obituary

**In loving memory of wife, mom, daughter, sister, and grandmother Deborah Jean "Grammy" Grover**

Deborah Jean "Grammy" Grover (née McGuire), age 63, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025, in Elkhart, Indiana. Born on August 27, 1961, in Menifee County, Kentucky, Debbie brought warmth and light to all who knew her.

Debbie was a woman of deep faith and unwavering love. She believed wholeheartedly in God and carried an extraordinary spiritual strength throughout her life. Her faith was a guiding force that shaped her compassion, resilience, and the way she loved those around her—with fierce loyalty and boundless grace.

She was previously employed at Leer Industries and Ultra Fab, where she worked with dedication and integrity. Though her professional life was important, Debbie’s heart belonged to her family. She cherished every moment spent with them—especially with the love of her life and best friend, her husband Jeffrey Grover. Their bond was one of true partnership and enduring affection.

Debbie found immense joy in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Lori McGuire; stepdaughters Tiffany Grover and Amber Chapman; stepsons Beau Grover and Derek Grover; and grandchildren Olivia Ida De Jesus, Kirstin Krauter, Desmond Krauter, Lauryn Grover, Brandon Grover, Gavin Chapman, Sean Chapman, and Brayden Chapman.

She also leaves behind her beloved mother Delia McGuire; brother James McGuire and his wife Toni; sisters Elizabeth Ann McGuire, Rebecca Coleman, and Robin McGuire Creer; as well as many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father James Marion; sister Karen Yvonne; sister Donna Joy Flory; and brother James Marion McGuire Jr.

Known for being loving, funny, understanding, caring, forgiving—and above all—family-oriented, Debbie had a rare gift for making others feel seen and valued. She was a fighter for love in every sense: loyal to those she held dear and always ready to offer support or a listening ear.

Her favorite moments were often the simplest ones—reading the Bible or watching spiritual movies that deepened her connection to faith. She delighted in watching her grandchildren play or curling up with a good book while enjoying the company of Sora, the newest four-legged member of the family who brought her great comfort.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grover home located at 675 Stamp Drive in Elkhart, Indiana (46516). Please join us in remembering Debbie.

Her legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
