Dennis Joseph Wade, Sr.

Dennis Joseph Wade, Sr., 81, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Center for Hospice Care, Esther’s House in Elkhart, Indiana. He was born on September 21, 1943, in Elkhart, Indiana, to George Henry and Agnes (Pecinowski) Wade, Sr.

Dennis married Cheryl Jean Benson who preceded him in death on September 14, 2022, in Elkhart. 

Dennis is survived by three children, Michelle D. (Dave) Adams, Tony A. (Hoa) Wade, Dennis J. (Tammie) Wade Jr., all of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Fred) Isza of Elkhart; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents as well as ten brothers and sisters.

Dennis was formerly employed by the Elkhart Community School Corporation as a custodian.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 11:00am-3:00pm on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at McNaughton Park Pavilion, 701 Arcade Avenue, Elkhart, IN.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
