Deva Michelle Ashley

GRANGER, IN – Deva Michelle Ashely, 55, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2026. She was born on October 22, 1970, in Mishawaka, Indiana.  She is survived by the love of her life and fiancé Jory Batchelor, daughter, Paige S. Hopkins, parents Georgia (Stephen) Papoi, Paul (De) Ashley, sister Sheila (Michael) Kish, stepsister Tracey (David) Thomas, stepbrother Steve Papoi, nephews Jerad (Mica) Kish, Brayden Kish, and a large extended family and friends that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her half brother Bryan Ashley, grandparents Ralph (Elaine) Daul, Clayton (Edna) Ashley, Steven (Ann) Papoi, and music legends Randy Rhodes and Ozzy Osbourne. 

She found joy in life’s greatest pleasures: music, art, nature, animals, and above all creating cherished memories with her family and friends.

She was a very artistic person that could make something beautiful out of things no one else would ever consider.  She would light up any room with her beautiful smile and contagious laugh.  She was also a loving, giving person, who treated everyone with love and respect.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to any affiliated cancer organization of your choice.

Elkhart Cremation has been entrusted with her care.
