Diana L. Hines

Diana L. Hines, 74, passed away on May 16, 2024, at her home in Mishawaka, IN.  She was born on October 4, 1949, in Plymouth, IN, to Russell & Gladys (Rabe) Peterson.

Surviving are 4 children, Denise Peterson, Donna Cariker, Dawn (Ralph) Farrell, Dustin (Kaylin) Boyd; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a companion of many years, Robert Hicks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Boyd; and a brother, Karl Peterson.

Diana was an avid Notre Dame, Jeff Gordon, and Elvis fan. She enjoyed basking in the sun, reading and having a good time. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her and she loved making memories with them. 

Per her wishes, cremation will take place, and there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Baugo Fire Department.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
