Duane Watts

ELKHART-Duane Watts, 66, passed away June 6, 2022, at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born February 27, 1956, in South Bend.

  On May 22, 1982 he married Norene Miller; she survives along with a daughter, Crystal (Clifton) Rivers, 2 grandchildren, Rowan, Roselda and another on the way.  Also surviving are 2 sisters, Nancy Watts and Anita Kopetski.

  He was preceded by his mother, Virginia Railsback-Watts, 3 grandchildren, Robin, Skyler and Genevieve. 

  Duane was a train enthusiast that enjoyed watching the trains as well as collecting model trains.  He would often gaze at the birds through his windows, do sudoku puzzles, was quick witted, and a true master at telling jokes.  He will be remembered as being the rock of his family, a strong husband, loving father,  amazing grandpa, wonderful brother, and a genuine friend to many others.

 A Memorial Service will be Tuesday June 14, 2022 with visitation at 2:00 pm, service 3:00 pm at the Salvation Amry Church in Goshen, In.

  Memorial contributions may be given to the Salvation Army of Elkhart.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
