Edgar Rodriguez-Montano

Edgar Rodriguez-Montaño, 46, of Elkhart, IN passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on December 21, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Rachel and three daughters Esperanza, Estrella and Paris Rodriguez. 

His father and mother Abel and Teresa, a brother Roberto and three sisters Mercedes, Esmeralda and Ana Maria of Mexico.

Nieces and nephews of Elkhart, Mayra, Jennifer, Luis, Marely, Patsy, Jerry, Brandon and Oscar.

Edgar worked as a cook for over 20 years and has recently worked a factory for the last four years. He was a hard worker and a good husband and father, brother, tío and friends with everyone. He will be in our hearts and memories and will join his brother Oscar who had passed in 2005.

There will be a mass at Our Lady of Hungary, January 4th at 6:00 p.m. 

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
