Elliot Ray Colburn

Elliot Ray Colburn, 61, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Center for Hospice Care--Raclin House in Mishawaka. He was born on March 24, 1963, in Mishawaka to Paul R. and Wanda (Melson) Colburn.

Elliot married Kathy Jo Johnson on July 4, 1987, in Mishawaka. She survives along with two brothers, David Colburn of Plymouth, IN, and Alan (Kathy) Colburn of South Bend, IN, as well as his sister-in-law, Sharon Colburn of South Bend, IN. Elliot was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Brian Colburn, Carl Colburn; and a sister-in-law, Darlene Colburn. Also surviving are his three cats: Missy, Misfit, and Lisa Lou.

Elliot graduated from Penn High School in 1982 and was formerly employed as a truck driver for the South Bend Tribune. He enjoyed talking to his friends on Facebook and watching cat videos on TikTok.

Cremation will take place, and a gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
