Eric Christopher Brown, 51, of Goshen, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2026. Born on August 25, 1974, in Orchard Park, New York, Eric lived a life full of passion, enthusiasm, and love for those around him.
Eric’s professional journey spanned over three decades and was marked by dedication and success. He began his career in manufactured housing sales, working with Redman, Liberty, and Four Seasons Homes. His hard work and commitment earned him recognition as a member of the Champion Homes Platinum Club. Eric also contributed to the industry by serving on numerous Manufactured Housing Association Boards across Wisconsin, Iowa, and Colorado.
In 2012, Eric transitioned to the RV industry, where he continued to excel. He worked with Salem-Hemisphere before joining Cruiser RV and later Forest River XLR, where he led sales and product operations. Known as a road warrior and territory hunter, Eric traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. Along the way, he built lasting relationships with dealers who became lifelong friends and maintained strong connections with colleagues over the years. His stories from his travels were legendary among those who knew him.
Most recently, Eric joined Dometic Corp., leading EOM sales for LVA North America. No matter where his career took him, Eric cherished the people he worked with and considered his teams like family. His magnetic spirit and genuine care for others left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Outside of his professional life, Eric embraced a wide range of hobbies that reflected his zest for life. At 18 years old, he got his first motorcycle and developed a lifelong love for the open road. In high school, he played football, a passion that carried into adulthood when he played semi-pro football with the Fox Valley Force in his 30s. He also enjoyed playing guitar, classic cars, fishing, landscaping in pursuit of the perfect lawn, savoring good bourbon, and sharing bad dad jokes that brought laughter to those around him.
Eric’s greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 30 years, Dawn (Boller) Brown, and their two sons: Colton Brown and Greydon Brown. He is also survived by his mother, Cynthia (Bill) Wallin and brother Gregory (Shelley) Brown Jr., as well as his 4 nieces, Sarah, Grace, Alli and Jadyn. A dog lover at heart, Eric also leaves behind his dog Schteve. Eric was predeceased by his father, Gregory Brown Sr.
A devoted husband and father, Eric deeply loved his wife and sons. His authenticity shone through in every interaction he cared deeply for his friends and colleagues alike. Those who knew him will remember him as fun-loving yet driven; someone who lit up every room he entered with his enthusiasm for life.
Eric had been looking forward to many exciting plans in the coming year. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew him.
Celebrations of Life will be planned for April with dates yet to be determined.
May Eric’s memory bring comfort to those who loved him as they reflect on a life lived fully and generously shared with others.
