Eric Edward Stutz

BRISTOL- Eric Edward Stutz, 66, died Wednesday January 27, 2021 at his residence in Bristol.  He was born October 16, 1954 in Elkhart, Indiana to Edward Lewis and Marian B. (Spake) Stutz, Jr.

     On October 1, 1994 he married Linda N. (White) Scott.  Linda survives along with his 3 sons Nicholas Stutz, Daniel Stutz, Adam Stutz all of Elkhart; 3 stepchildren, Theresa Scott of South Bend, Kirk Scott of Muncie, IN, Rachel Wilson of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.  Also surviving is his mother Marian Stutz of Elkhart, 3 sisters Judy Robbins, Lydia (Jeff) Benedict both of Elkhart, Teresa Stutz of Cassopolis, MI; 1 brother Brian Stutz of Waldron, AK; numerous nieces and nephews and his adopted family Pat and Rod Falace. He was preceded in death by his father.

     Eric graduated from Jimtown High School in 1972.  He was owner operator of Bearcat LLC Trucking Company.  In August of 2003 he was the Grand Champion at the Indiana Truck Driving competition.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union, attended the Vineyard Church in Mishawaka, In.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.

     Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care or to the American Diabetes Association.
