George Henry Feirick Jr.

EDWARDSBURG, MI- George Henry Feirick, Jr., 73, of Edwardsburg, died Friday January 29, 2021 at Creekside Village in Mishawaka.  He was born May 20, 1947 in Niles, Michigan to George Henry and Delores (Hartline) Feirick, Sr.
     On April 30, 2018 in Cassopolis, MI he married Terri Lynn Hantelman.  She survives along with her 2 children, Jeffery (Janet) Rose of Glen Burnie, Maryland and Amanda (Travis) Oiler of Elkhart; 6 stepchildren and 1 step great granddaughter.  Also surviving are 2 sisters; Peggy (Frank) Walter, Linda (Richard) Deforest both of Niles, MI; 2 nephews, Jeffrey Caison of NC and Juan Cresto, Jr. of Elkhart, and a niece Maria Ross of Granger, IN.  He was preceded in death by his father George Henry Feirick, Sr, his mother Delores Buysee, a sister Vickie Sue Caison and a niece Tammy Sue Caison.
     George served in the US Army for 23 years, retiring in 1991 as a master sergeant and also worked for Brothers Baking Company in the shipping department.
George was a member of the Edwardsburg VFW Post 2284 and he enjoyed golfing.
     Cremation will take place and celebration of life service will be held at the VFW Post 2284 in Edwardsburg, Mi. 49112 May 1, 2021 at 3:00pm with full military honors.   Elkhart Cremation services is entrusted with his care.
     Memorial contributions may be given to the Edwardsburg VFW Post #2284.
