George Moser, Jr Obituary

MISHAWAKA, IN – George B Moser was received into the loving arms of his savior, Jesus, on Thursday, May 1, 2025. George was born on May 21, 1935, to George Benjamin Moser and Mildred Pauline (Huss) Moser in Ligonier, IN, where he grew up with 14 siblings. He graduated from Ligonier High School, and on December 26, 1954, he married the love of his life, Sharon Kay Lindley. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. She survives, along with sons Kimothy Scott Moser, Jeffrey Todd Moser (Linda Marie (Klump) Moser), daughter Tamara Kay (Moser) Kronewitter, and daughter-in-law Denise Lynn (Grepke) Moser.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Katrina Lynn (Moser) Last (Walter William Jr.), Tracy Marie (Moser) Kulwicki (Mark), Daniel John Lloyd (Adrien Michele (Worley)), James Andrew Lloyd, Diane Janine (Lloyd) Haas (Brian Edward), Kellie Rose Moser (Chet Lee Wernlund), Shelby Marie (Morrow) Faltynski (Bruce Wayne), Jeffrey Todd Moser II (Candi Michelle (Hall)), Cole Tyler Kronewitter (Elizabeth Ashley (Johnston)), Sean Michael Kronewitter (Sara Nicole Melnick), Clark Douglas Kronewitter and 13 great-grandchildren: Aaron Joseph Furbush, Jordynn Malia Kulwicki, Jacob Alan Kulwicki, Greysen Daniel Lloyd, Ross Jaxen Wernlund, Kinsley Sue Wernlund, Kaia Marie Faltynski, Myah Joy Faltynski, Eliana Grace Faltynski, Destini Moriah Moser, Jeffrey Todd (JT) Moser III, Conor Michael Kronewitter, Cian Thomas Kronewitter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son George Terric (Terry) Moser, daughter-in-law Patricia Collen (O’Brien) Moser, and siblings Carl Moser, Howard Moser, Marlene Kimmel, Carolyn Ridenour, Diana Christner, and Phyllis Paler. George worked in heavy construction all his adult life, beginning with Hunter Construction Co. and ending with Northern Indiana Construction, where he was co-owner until he retired in 1997. His passion was building bridges. He also enjoyed leading Boy Scouts while his sons participated, and when they became empty-nesters, they refilled their home by fostering several young boys and girls. After retiring, they traveled the US in their motor home before spending several years in Sebring, FL. They returned to Indiana in their golden years to be close to family.

A celebration of life will be held on June 14th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 59220 Bremen Highway, Mishawaka, IN 46544 Memorial service at 1:00 pm followed by pie and fellowship with friends and family.  Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Elkhart Christian Academy.
