GOSHEN-George F. Nelson, 75, passed away October 3, 2023, at Majestic Healthcare in Goshen. He was born July 7, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA to the late George & Gloria (Kerr) Nelson.

Surviving is a daughter, Ann (Christopher) Tapper, 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 2 brothers, Jerry (Vickie) Nelson and daughters Christy and Merredith, Glenn (Carol) Nelson, and sons Eric and Devon, and 2 sisters. Also surviving is his best friend, Marsha Cenkush, best friends’ daughter, Megan (Jeff) Spurgeon and 3 honorary grandchildren.

George was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He was a huge sport enthusiast, enjoyed playing Rugby, a wonderful cook, and a dog lover. He will be remembered for his wild and adventurous spirit.

Per his wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services.
