George G Owen

OSCEOLA, IN- George G. Owen, 94, of Osceola, IN, passed away Tuesday August 5, 2025, at Wellbrooke of South Bend.  He was born July 13, 1931, in Elkhart, Indiana to George & Denelda (Walmer) Owen.

On January 26, 1954, he married Rosetta May Patten.  She survives along with 2 daughters, Linda (Brian) Savage of Williamsburg, MI, Shirley Owen of Osceola, IN; 4 grandchildren, Jennie (Zach) Siri, Justin Whitaker, Braden Savage, Trey Savage and 4 great-grandchildren, Everett Siri, Leighton Siri, Harrison Siri and Callum Siri.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathleen Herald.

George was formerly employed at Elkhart Foundry and Machine.  He was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.  George was a former member of the Osceola American Legion ad he enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, doing home projects and attending family gatherings.  He was a very proud family provider and protector.

There will be no visitation or service, and cremation will take place.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
