Georgia Ana Dick-Gallarde
On September 10, 1957, my precious daughter Georgia Ana was
born in Elkhart to Marlene (Foley) Dick. She was so beautiful with a smile for everyone. I named her after her Grandmother; my Mother was so proud.
On December 13, 2025, at 68 years, she walked into Gods arms, free of pain, no more worries with the beautiful smile we had not seen for a
while. Georgia was a very loving and caring daughter; she was always concerned about others.
She went to Osolo Elementary, Brookdale Jr High, Memorial High and graduated from Central High school. She worked at Sears Roebuck in
accounting; on special occasions she dressed as Winnie The Pooh. All
through her school years she twirled Baton, taught by Sue Books. Georgia worked at Winnie The Pooh daycare in Mishawaka for several years.
Georgia lived in Las Vegas with her adopted family, the Gallardes, and worked in the travel industry there for 20 years.
Georgia leaves behind her mother Marlene (Foley) Shaffer, her sisters Debra (Rick) Maxon and D. Anne (Fred) Cox, and her brother David (Lori) Pooler. As well as many nieces and nephews and friends she lived with in Las Vegas: Chris Vickie, Glenn and Mark.
On Wednesday April 15th at 2:00 Georgias ashes will be laid to rest with her grandmother at Rice Cemetery.
We want to thank everyone for having kept Georgia in your thoughts and
prayers.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with her care.
