Gregory Allen Miller

We regret to announce the passing of Gregory “Greg” Allen Miller, aged 50, who passed away peacefully at home on 6/17/24 in Shipshewana, Indiana after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on May 1st, 1974, in Goshen, Indiana to Gary Miller and Shelly (Jones) Guard. He was committed to his long-term partner, Mary “Patty” Anderson who helped raise his son, Jory Miller.

Greg Miller was a laborer, who attended trade school for sheet metal installation after high school and was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union 20.

In his free time, Greg enjoyed watching football, which brought him joy and relaxation. He was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. He also enjoyed watching the University of Miami for NCAA football as well as the Boston Celtics for basketball.

Greg Miller was proceeded in death by his mother Shelly Guard, and grandparents Ezra Jones, Dee Jones, Gwen (Cripe) Egolf, and Wayne Miller.

Greg Miller is survived by his partner Mary “Patty” Anderson, his son Jory Miller, his father Gary (Cindy) Miller, his sisters’ Jessica Miller, Janisa (Jon) Martin, & Jami Stoller as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Per Greg’s wishes, there will be no service and his remains will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Though Greg will be dearly missed by those who knew him, his legacy will live on through his family and friends. We will all be rooting for the Miami Dolphins whenever we get the chance.
