Hazel Friesner Obituary

OSCEOLA- Hazel Friesner, 73, of Osceola, died Saturday March 13, 2021 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born February 27, 1948 in Dycusburg, KY to Rayburn and Louise Mae (Guess) Doom.

On August 15, 1980 she married Lawrence Friesner. He survives along with 4 children; Monica (Devin) Himebaugh, Thomas (Sheila) Friesner, Tabby (Joe) Roberts, Heidi (Tom) Feldman; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 7 siblings: Eula Bates, Barbara Eaton, Jerrold Doom, Petey Doom, Darlene Bessler, Wanda Berry, Gael Hackney and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.

Hazel enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, taking care of other people, family gatherings and watching Judge Judy on TV.

A memorial luncheon will be held at Friday March 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM til 5:00 PM at the American Legion - 122 Lincoln Way, Osceola,In.

Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
