EDWARDSBURG-Helen Louise Stout-Andries, 93, passed away March 30, 2021.  She was born November 23, 1927 in Servia, IN to Paul & Genevia (Knopp) Krichbaum.

  On July 19, 1947 she married her first love, Dean W. Stout; He preceded her in death.  On November 23, 1998 she married Justin “Andy” Andries and he also preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 children, Thomas Stout, Bobby Stout, Dean “Wayne” Stout, Jr., and her brother, Robert Krichbaum.

  Surviving are 3 children, Michael (Deb) Stout, Deborah Dudding, Neal (Vickie) Stout, and 2 sisters, Karen and Phyllis.  Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Mike (Dawn), Kevin, Travis, Jennifer (Scott), Jamie (Andrea), Chris (Tami), Angie (Jason), Celena (Dewey), 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. 

  Helen was a member of the Edwardsburg Presbyterian Church, V.F.W., American Legion, Women’s Auxiliary, Lioness Club and Moose Lodge.  She retired from Elkhart General Hospital after over 27 years of service.    Helen loved to travel, dance, paint, crochet, attend plays and musicals.  She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time in nature with wildlife and tending to her flower gardens.  

  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
