Howard Hall Obituary

Mishawaka - Howard Eugene Hall, a man of great faith and devotion, went Home to be with His Lord on March 18, 2026, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Born on June 25, 1935, in Logansport, Indiana, to Harry and Mabel Hall, Howard lived a life deeply rooted in his Christian beliefs and guided by his steadfast trust in God.

Howard was the beloved husband of Sheila Hall and a cherished father to his children: Gerald Hall, Tom (Debbie) Hall, Mark Lybarger, Kelly (Keith) Wiening, and Sherry (Scott) Wodrich. He was also a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to sixteen great-grandchildren. His family brought him immense joy and were a source of pride throughout his life.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mabel Hall, as well as his sister, Katie Diane Warren. Though their loss was deeply felt, Howard's enduring faith provided him with comfort and hope.

Howard will be remembered for a spirit that made life lighter for everyone around him. With a natural sense of humor, he had a way of bringing laughter into even the simplest of moments, easing burdens and lifting hearts. Howard firmly believed his dog, Hootie, was the best dog in the world-and while others might have debated it, he would have happily and humorously argued his case with anyone who dared to disagree. He possessed a rare gift for connection-meeting people where they were and making them feel truly seen and understood. In his presence, people felt valued, included, and loved, and that impact will remain one of his greatest legacies.

Howard's memory will live on through the countless lives he touched with his compassion and steadfast belief in the power of faith. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of the profound impact one life can have when lived with purpose and devotion.

A Visitation will be held on March 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Bethany Missionary Church located at 56295 CR 1, Elkhart, Indiana. A Celebration of Life to follow from 3:00 to 4:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Howard's honor to the Ernestine M. Raclin Center for Hospice Care or the Pet Refuge, Inc.
