Iona Wallace Obituary

MISHAWAKA, IN- Iona Elaine Wallace, 96, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday June 12, 2025, at her residence in Mishawaka. She was born October 14, 1928, in South Bend, Indiana to Paul & Bernett (Keller) Sinders.

She married Carl Wallace, and he preceded her in death along with her parents. Surviving is a niece, Sandi Knight of Mishawaka and her 2 beloved caregivers, Shane Holloway and Andrew “Gator” Holloway both of Mishawaka.

Iona was a homemaker and an animal lover. She dearly loved her dog “Penny”. In keeping with her wishes cremation will take place. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with her care.
