James K Arbuthnot

 
ELKHART- James K. Arbuthnot, 66, of Elkhart, died Friday April 22, 2022, at the Center for Hospice Care in Mishawaka.  He was born June 16, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio to Frederick James and Barbara J. (Yount) Arbuthnot.
     On May 31, 1977, in Bangor, Michigan he married Linda C. Freislinger.  She survives along with 2 children, Jamie L. (Richard) Brown, James K. (Jennie) Arbuthnot II both of Elkhart, IN; 4 grandchildren, Eyezak, Braydyn, Amaya and Demi, and his mother, Barbara J. Arbuthnot of Portage, MI.  Also surviving are 4 siblings, Julie Neal of Kalamazoo, MI, Kurt Arbuthnot of Bangor, MI and Terry and David Arbuthnot both of Elkhart, IN.  He was preceded in death by his father Frederick, his Grandma Yount, uncle Bob and aunt Carol.
     James was a handyman who could fix anything, and he enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. 
     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service for James will take place at a later date.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.
