James L. Fox

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James L. Fox on July 22, 2024, in Elkhart, Indiana. James L. Fox was born on February 27, 1942, in Kearney, Nebraska. 

He was a sales manager for the RV and manufactured housing industries.

Jim loved to fish and play golf. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and a Shriner.

Jim is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy (Bowen) Fox of Elkhart, IN; two sons, James C. Fox (wife Lisa) of Bristol, IN, and Scott L Fox (wife Molly) of Hartwell, GA. Jim has seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his son, Stuart (Chip) Fox; his sister, Marilyn Colter; his father, James L. Fox, Sr.; and his mother, Edith (Waite) Fox.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Jim will be laid to rest in the cemetery of St. John of the Cross Episcopal Church in Bristol, IN.

Memorials in honor of Jim should be made to the family.
