James LaMar Pennington, 82 passed away May 10, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital with his friend by his side. He was born November 21, 1941, to Virgil and Helen (Clipp) Pennington.
Surviving is one sister Linda R Maggert. James was preceded in death by his parents, his longtime companion, and one sister, Betty J. Maggert.
James attended Concord High School until he enlisted in the United States Marines Corp. and served for six years. He worked at Jessen Mfg. as a truck driver, until early retirement due to illness.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Per James' wishes, he was cremated with no services. Burial was held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
