Jeffery Allen Mikel

ELKHART- Jeffery Allen Mikel, 65, of Elkhart, died Tuesday August 2, 2022, at his residence in Elkhart.  He was born June 19, 1957, in Elkhart, Indiana to Bemis V. & Vivian L. (Guffey) Mikel, Sr.

     Surviving are 2 daughters, Sarah Marie, and Allison Kay Mikel both of Elkhart; 3 grandchildren; 4 siblings, Bemis V. (Janice) Mikel, Jr., of Osceola, Jon R. Mikel of Syracuse, Roger D. (Debbie) Mikel of MI, Latitia Mikel of Elkhart, Darline (Paul) Blosser of Wakarusa and a host of nieces and nephews.  Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beverly Gifford.

     Jeffery worked in the R.V. Industry as a heating and cooling technician.  He enjoyed spending time on his computer and doing maintenance work.  Jeffery graduated in 1975 from Jimtown High School and served in the US Air Force and received an honorable discharge and was a member of the True Vine Church in Elkhart.

     Cremation will take place and a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.

     Memorial contributions may be given to Heart-to-Heart Hospice.
