Obituary

OSCEOLA- Jerry Lee Taber, 79, of Osceola, passed away Tuesday August 8, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born December 3, 1943, in Mishawaka, Indiana to Fred W. & Verlon A. (McCaskill) Taber.

On February 27, 1965, he married Diana R. Ward. She survives along with 1 son, Monte L. (Vicki) Taber of Elkhart; 1 granddaughter; 1 great grandchild and a brother, Wayne F. (Shirley) Taber of Osceola. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers.

Jerry was a retired truck driver who enjoyed tinkering in his garage and classic cars and street rods.

Cremation will take place and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Elkhart Cremation Services is entrusted with his care.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association.
