JoEllen Taylor Obituary

ELKHART- JoEllen Taylor, 92, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday November 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born September 5, 1928 in Elkhart, Indiana to Fred W. & Ruth A. (Galloway) Koher.

Surviving are 4 children, David (Linda) Gunts of Zepher Hills, FL, Stephen (Debra) Gunts of South Bend, IN, Donna (Jason) Krogh, Scott (Shelly) Taylor both of Elkhart, IN; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gerald Koher and a granddaughter, Michelle Corter.

JoEllen was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church in Elkhart and she enjoyed reading and watching Westerns on TV. She was a self-employed in the childcare industry.

Cremation will take place and a private family celebration of life service will be held in the spring of 2021. Elkhart Cremation services is entrusted with her care.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care.
